Project Description:
This project involved the refurbishment of the existing Endoscopy Ward which was housed in the existing 1960’s vintage Surgical Block at the Toowoomba Hospital.
This was carried out so as to provide additional capacity and economy of use through a functional re-design of the existing areas. The Endoscopy Ward floor area was increased through the inclusion of spaces originally used by the Central Services Unit.
The Endoscopy Ward remained in continued operation for the duration of the works so our design and construction solutions had to address the need for maintained functionality and operations, with as little disturbance to occupants, staff and the public as possible.
